About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Service: Sell and service Co-operators personal lines products, including auto and home insurance, to meet or exceed sales and service targets.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs, identifying opportunities to provide additional products and services that meet their needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Co-operators' products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide clear explanations of products and services, and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals, share knowledge and best practices, and provide support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • General Insurance License: Hold a valid General Insurance License or obtain one within two months of hire.
  • Provincial Licensing Requirements: Meet all provincial licensing requirements, including continuing education, to maintain a valid General Insurance License.
  • Experience: One year of sales and service experience or related business experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of auto and property insurance products, sales techniques, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
