About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Woodstock, NB.

As a Personal Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for servicing ongoing client needs, advising on insurance matters, conducting needs assessments, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conducting retention calls, and processing renewals.

You will also be responsible for selling new policies, writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business, contacting underwriters and adjusters, preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes, and reviewing renewals.

You will be expected to keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes and actively participate in training initiatives.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education
  • A valid insurance license for New Brunswick or willingness to obtain same
  • Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) would be an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills and adept in conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Ability to thrive and be successful in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
