Job Title: Senior Architectural Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Designer to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for the development, interpretation of engineering designs, drawings and specifications of design systems for modular building layouts to be used in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare Revit designs and project specifications.
  • Develop and create detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications.
  • Provide technical assistance and input on new proposals and contracts.
  • Prepare proposal specifications and presentation documents in accordance with client and/or project requirements.
  • Create and check design information with consideration for accuracy, completeness and adherence to client specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, provincial and local regulations & NRB standards.
  • Collaborate with Structural, Mechanical and Electrical teams and consulting Engineering partners to complete designs and resolve challenges, ensuring of delivery within the schedule.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing facilities and field personnel.
  • Work with purchasing and vendors to source, review and specify equipment.
  • Develop, maintenance and improve products and items library.
  • Ensure codes and standards and company procedures are followed.
  • Manage and lead (at a technical capacity) the design task on day-to-day.
