About the Role:

We seek an experienced Senior Building Design Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of building structures to ensure they are safe, functional, and compliant with local codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create detailed designs and analyses for structural components and systems in various types of buildings, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
  2. Develop comprehensive engineering plans, specifications, and drawings that meet local building codes and safety standards.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of existing buildings to determine their condition and compliance with current codes and regulations.
  4. Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
  5. Oversight and review of construction processes to guarantee that structural elements are built according to specifications and standards.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase, addressing any structural issues or challenges that arise.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to structural designs, evaluations, and construction activities.
  8. Stay informed about changes in building codes, engineering standards, and industry best practices to ensure accurate and innovative designs.
Requirements:
  • A relevant certification or diploma in Structural Engineering, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A proven track record as a senior structural engineer or building engineer, with a deep understanding of structural design, analysis, and construction.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools used for structural analysis and design.
  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to assess and resolve complex engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing design projects and documentation.
  • The ability to stay current with evolving building codes, engineering standards, and industry practices.
