Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer

Blackline Safety is seeking a highly skilled Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive operational improvements, maintain operational gains, and accelerate continuous improvement projects. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for ensuring factory capability for on-time, on-quality, on-cost delivery of product.
The Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer will work collaboratively within the Manufacturing Engineering functions, and with other disciplines, to drive multiple initiatives to enhance productivity and improvement activities required to sustain rapid growth and support new product launches.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a technical team responsible for factory manufacturing capacity, yield, and productivity.
- Engage with Product Development and other disciplines to complete root-cause analyses of issues in product or process and ensure resolution.
- Champion initiatives to bring in new technologies and oversee capital projects to deliver step-change gains in productivity, capacity, efficiency, and quality.
- Ensure Manufacturing Process team delivers on manufacturing process readiness for new product introduction launches.
- Manage development of documentation, procedures, and processes to standardize and improve manufacturing operations.
- Create new organizational structures and policies to develop departmental maturity and support organizational development initiatives.
- Exceptional knowledge in mechanical, electronics, and process design and troubleshooting.
- Thorough knowledge of volume electronics and electronics assembly industry best-practices.
- Proven successes in manufacturing line design and operations management.
- Successful history of leading engineering teams or managing projects.
- Ability to rapidly and strategically prioritize and balance conflicting priorities.
- Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment and Six Sigma accreditation, with demonstrated successes in applying tools and ability to mentor others in their usage.
- Data acquisition and analysis experience using databases and complex data structures.
