Customer Experience Ambassador

Cadillac Fairview is a dynamic and fast-paced organization that transforms communities. We're seeking an exceptional Customer Experience Ambassador to join our team.
About the RoleThis part-time role without benefits requires the successful candidate to provide outstanding customer service to valued shoppers, community retailers, and business partners. You will be required to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business. The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be a customer-service focused individual, and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Guest Services Programs: Sell gift cards, offer complimentary strollers/wheelchairs/walkers, provide retail and community information, and promote mall events.
- Receive and Direct Inquiries: Answer questions or forward them to the appropriate station to ensure prompt responses and maintain high-level customer service.
- Dispatch Security and Maintenance Personnel: Use a portable radio system to dispatch personnel as needed.
- KIPSU Text Concierge Program: Respond to guest inquiries according to program guidelines.
- Generate Weekly Reports: Access information to provide the Guest Services Supervisor with up-to-date status.
- Community and Retailer Relationships: Develop relationships with the community and shopping centre retailers to stay informed about community activities and mall events.
- Maintain Ongoing Interaction: Act as a liaison between customers, security, maintenance, marketing, and all shopping centre departments.
- Gift Card Sales: Coordinate sales at Guest Services, including supervising related files and reconciling daily sales reports.
- Guest Services Database: Maintain customer information and ensure it's kept current.
- Special Events and Promotions: Log up-to-date information regarding special events, promotions, changes, and visitor concerns.
- Proactive Communication: Inform customers of pertinent information to improve the positive image of the shopping centre and encourage repeat traffic.
- Marketing Department Support: Assist with the execution of marketing programs as required.
- Traffic Flow Assistance: Roam throughout the shopping centre and assist traffic flow by directing visitors/shoppers to follow traffic signs.
- Previous Hospitality Experience: Preferred but not required.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and walk the Centre while interacting with guests.
- Assessment and Initiative: Ability to assess, take initiative, and fulfill customer and tenant expectations.
