Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
