Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at the Slave Lake Inn and Conference Centre. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Hire and manage food service staff.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in food service management.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
