Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Alberta Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Hire food service staff and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate the activities of staff.
  • Ability to estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ability to prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Ability to address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Ability to maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ability to prepare and submit reports.
