Health and Safety Administrative Specialist

Job DescriptionThis Administrative role lies within our Health and Safety Team, supporting the effective implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and developing a safe and healthful workplace for all employees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring OHSMS and EMS requirements are supported and maintained in accordance with ISO45001, ISO14001, Government and Corporate Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
- Assisting on audits and inspections.
- Maintaining Zero Harm suggestion system, ensuring champions are assigned and followed up with in alignment with company targets.
- Supporting action plans, entering monthly environmental data, and assisting in ergonomic submissions.
- Completing accident/incident investigation reports and implementing corrective actions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent education.
- Health and Safety Certificate or Diploma or Post-secondary education in a similar field.
- CRST would be an asset.
- Certified Joint Health and Safety member preferred.
- Minimum one year of Health and Safety experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
