Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time ENG/EFP Camera/Editor to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for executing field camera work, editing, and other areas of modern media production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Non-linear editing of content for CityNews using the Grass Valley Edit System
  • Work with 5.1 audio and potentially outside clients within the Rogers group of companies
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including weekend and shift work
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a broadcast environment, preferably in a newsroom environment
  • Experience in non-linear based editing and knowledge of Adobe Premiere
  • Strong understanding of broadcast workflows and the ability to adapt to new workflows
  • Strong technical skills and local news knowledge are assets
  • Must be able to work well in high-stress environments and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid Driver's license is required
