We're seeking a talented Full Time ENG/EFP Camera/Editor to contribute to our dynamic team at CityNews. Your role will involve field camera work, editing, and other aspects of modern media production to engage with our audience and elevate the Rogers Communications brand.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing CityNews content using Grass Valley Edit System
  • Collaborating with external clients within the Rogers group
  • Ensuring adherence to 5.1 audio standards
  • Completing tasks as assigned
  • Flexibility for weekend and shift work

What We Expect from You:

  • Prior experience in a broadcast setting, preferably in a newsroom setting
  • Proficiency in non-linear editing techniques
  • Familiarity with Grass Valley Edius and Stratus
  • Knowledge of 5.1 audio technology
  • Expertise in broadcast workflows and willingness to adapt
  • Strong technical skills are advantageous
  • Understanding of local news is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
  • Deadline-oriented work ethic
  • Valid Driver's license is a must
