About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Photo Editor to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content that engages our audience and supports our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Non-linear editing of content for CityNews using the Grass Valley Edit System
  • Work with 5.1 audio and other advanced audio technologies
  • Collaborate with external clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality visual content
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including weekend and shift work
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a broadcast environment, preferably in a newsroom environment
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of Adobe Premiere
  • Experience with 5.1 audio and other advanced audio technologies
  • Strong understanding of broadcast workflows and the ability to adapt to new workflows
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Valid Driver's license required
