Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Product Advisor to join our team at OpenRoad Honda. As a Product Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting new business, and selling new and pre-owned vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by determining each prospective client's vehicle needs and promoting new business.
- Sell new and pre-owned vehicles, and demonstrate vehicles (includes test drives).
- Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in all products/inventory.
- Be thoroughly familiar with all products, including features, specifications, prices, colours, options, and standard equipment.
- Use closing techniques effectively and be profit-minded when closing.
- Deliver new and pre-owned vehicles to customers and ensure the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Introduce customers to Service Department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with others.
- Strong computer skills (internet & MS Office) and ability to maintain records using computerized systems.
- Effective negotiation skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- A Current OMVIC License and a valid Ontario Driver's License with a good driving record.
