Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with early childhood educators to develop and implement child-care programs that support the overall growth and well-being of children.
  • Storytelling and Activities: Engage children through storytelling, teaching songs, and leading activities that foster creativity and imagination.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out daily tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring the health, security, and well-being of children.
  • Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers to provide comprehensive support for children.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skill Set: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, punctuality, reliability, teamwork, creativity, and strong oral communication skills.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
