The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced educators to develop and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with educators to plan and implement child-care programs that support child development.
  • Support educators in carrying out programs that promote child development.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings to local points of interest.
  • Assist educators in keeping records and observing children's progress.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to educators.
  • Discuss children's progress and problems at staff meetings.
  • Establish guidelines for child behavior.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
