Job Title: ECE Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Silver Maple Montessori. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare program, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our children to grow and develop.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Vulnerable sector check.
