We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to join our team at Ontario Impex of Canada Inc. as a General Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve business objectives.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate human, financial, and material resources to support business operations.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Co-ordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure effective business operations.
- Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
- Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, interpersonal awareness, and team player.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
