Executive Director, Sport Governance

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our sport governing agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the organization, developing policies and procedures, and preparing budgets and monitoring revenues and expenses.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement policies and procedures to support program delivery
- Manage the daily operations of the organization, including staff supervision and budget management
- Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and growth
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and government agencies
- Negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of the organization
- Act as a spokesperson for the organization, representing its interests and values
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the organization and its programs
- Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and objectives
- 5+ years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in the sport industry
- Proven track record of leadership and management, with a focus on strategic planning and execution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results
- Knowledge of labour relations and collective bargaining is an asset
