Executive Director, Sport Governance

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our sport governing agency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to drive program success.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the daily operations of a sport or recreational organization
- Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
- Arrange for sponsorships from public and private organizations
- Negotiate business contracts
- Act as spokesperson for an organization
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
- Mediate labour disputes and grievances
- Develop policies, standards and guidelines
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
- 5-10 years of experience in a senior management role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
