About the Role

Gardewine is seeking a reliable and physically capable Moving Helper to join our team in Winnipeg. As a Moving Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth relocation of our customers' household goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering friendly and helpful assistance to customers during the moving process.
  • Load and unload household goods, including boxes and furniture, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Participate in the packing process to ensure all items are properly secured and protected.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure seamless coordination of moving activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of our moving operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Previous experience in loading and unloading household goods, preferably in a moving and storage environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
