Job Summary:

As a Moving Helper with Winnipeg Moving & Storage, a business unit of Gardewine, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth relocation of families and businesses across Canada and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, ensuring their needs are met with a smile.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to pack and load household goods, office furniture, and specialty freight in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure seamless coordination of activities.
  • Load and unload households, tagging and listing items, padding and protecting furniture as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including government regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team's goals and objectives.
Requirements:

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to perform physical demands of the job. Prior experience in loading and unloading household/office furniture and specialty freight is an asset. Proven history of working in collaborative teams.

Physical Demands:

Ability to move boxes, furniture, and office equipment as required. Bend, lift, turn, carry, twist, and go up and down stairs carrying weight.
