Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Lead to join our team at JAKU CONSTRUCTION. This role involves overseeing the execution of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement;
  • Supervise workers and projects, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure successful outcomes;
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions, such as training and development programs;
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project, working closely with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality products;
  • Set up equipment and oversee its maintenance to ensure optimal performance;
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action as necessary;
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, disciplinary measures, and terminations, in accordance with company policies and procedures;
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively to achieve project goals;
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders;
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues quickly and efficiently;
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative and flexible approach to work;
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 and $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
