Job DescriptionWe are hiring a Director of Sales to support our accelerated growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will spearhead the activities of the Revenue Department, creating and executing the strategic plans for marketing and sales. You will grow and foster a process-driven, committed, and accountable sales team, providing coaching and support to ensure their success.
Responsibilities- Build a strong sales team by recruiting, leading, and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Set KPIs and sales targets and support your team in meeting quotas.
- Identify gaps in knowledge and approach and create ongoing sales training to meet these needs.
- Design and implement the team's strategy, ensuring alignment with the short and long-term goals of the organization.
- Design and roll out a proven sales process.
- Dive into the market needs and trends to update demand pricing and gross margin optimization.
- Create or update sales territories, developing prospective plans and approaches to expand our presence.
- Develop deep insights and industry knowledge to identify new market and product opportunities.
- Co-create and approve our marketing strategy and messaging.
- Expertise gained through building a career in B2B sales.
- Proven success leading and growing B2B sales teams.
- Ability to align sales initiatives with the organization's vision.
- Insights into what makes a great sales representative and how to align individual ambitions with the collective goals of the team and the organization.
- Ability to gain trust and build relationships at any level, navigating customer hesitance with creative solutions based on your insights into the product and the industry.
