Genuine Comfort is a leading distributor of Air Conditioners and Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners across Canada and the Mid-North USA. We are seeking a highly experienced Director, Sales and Marketing to spearhead our accelerated growth.
About the RoleAs a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for creating and executing the strategic plans for marketing and sales. You will grow and foster a process-driven, committed, and accountable sales team, providing coaching and support to ensure their success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, setting KPIs and sales targets, and supporting them in meeting quotas
- Identify gaps in knowledge and approach, creating ongoing sales training to meet these needs
- Design and implement a proven sales process, ensuring alignment with the short and long-term goals of the organization
- Develop deep insights and industry knowledge to identify new market and product opportunities
- Co-create and approve our marketing strategy and messaging
- Prepare and present dashboard reports, scorecards, budgets, projections, and annual sales
We are looking for a dynamic sales leader with experience working in sales for a distribution company. You should have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, leading and growing B2B sales teams, and aligning sales initiatives with the organization's vision.
You should have insights into what makes a great sales representative and how to align individual ambitions with the collective goals of the team and the organization. You should be able to gain trust and build relationships at any level, navigating customer hesitance with creative solutions based on your insights into the product and the industry.
