We work closely with employers to create more inclusive working environments by providing training for HR, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders focused on women's-equity workplace initiatives.

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Strategic Alliances to drive our revenue growth and amplify our impact through strategic corporate collaborations and initiatives.

Position Overview:

The Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Strategic Alliances will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing strategies to build and sustain high-impact partnerships/sponsorships with corporate entities and other strategic stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Partnership Development: Identify and secure new high-value corporate sponsorships that align with WCT's mission and strategic goals (over $25K-$50K+ deals). Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that leverages corporate resources, expertise, and networks to advance the organization's objectives. Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to ensure mutual benefit and successful implementation of initiatives.
  • Strategic Alliances and Initiatives: Lead the development and execution of strategic partnership alliances that enhance organizational impact and drive innovation. Cultivate strong strategic alliances with other key players in the women's equity and DEI ecosystem.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate stakeholder prospects, including executives, decision-makers, and influencers. Foster a culture of collaboration and partnership within the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor a small team responsible for marketing, partnerships, and strategic initiatives. Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their performance and growth. Promote a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
  • Reporting and Communication: Develop and present regular reports on partnership activities, strategic initiatives, and impact to the Board of Directors and senior leadership. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to share successes, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cultivating high-value ($25K+) corporate partnerships/sponsorships, business development, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement innovative strategies. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. Experience in leading and managing teams, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and drive results. High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to the organization's mission and values.

This is a full-time role, however WCT recognizes that some applicants may have caregiving responsibilities, so this role is open to part-time or job-sharing for the right candidate/s, with a minimum coverage requirement of 0.5FTE.

Competitive salary and benefits package with a base salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 FTE annually, commensurate with experience. We provide a health and benefits plan, L&D stipend, and work-from-home stipend. The role is eligible for 15 days paid vacation and additional paid time off between December 25 and December 31.

We commit to creating a work environment that brings the team together in real life, where possible, for celebration, collaboration, and connection. This role will need to be considerate of core EST time zone hours (typically between 12pm ET-4pm ET).
