Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Team Leader to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our Primary Health Care Team, you will be responsible for leading by example and taking the initiative to identify and solve problems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of contact centre nurses and provide hands-on support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to improve team performance and patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Health Links-Info Santé Manager to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Provide education and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience in contact centre telephone triage.
  • Past clinical experience in Emergency Department or Community Health an asset.
  • Experience with multiple software applications preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate of Nursing preferred or a combination of experience and other advanced education considered.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
Working Conditions

This position requires a high level of stress due to the nature and volume of calls in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.

Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT. The WRHA legal entity includes various health care facilities and programs.
