Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Clinical Leadership and Coordination
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Mobile Crisis Service, Walk-In Crisis Services and Crisis Stabilization Unit.
  • Provide clinical leadership and coordination to ensure the delivery of high-quality crisis response services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Therapeutic Interventions: Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals in crisis.
  • Clinical Supervision and Collaboration: Supervise and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective crisis response services.
  • Clinical On-Call: Provide on-call support to ensure 24/7 crisis response services.
  • Information Management/Research: Manage and analyze data to inform program development and improvement.
  • Program Development and Practice Standards: Develop and implement program standards and guidelines to ensure high-quality crisis response services.
  • Education and Training: Develop and deliver education and training sessions to staff and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum of four years related clinical experience in mental health, with experience in the provision of crisis response services required.
  • Experience in acute care mental health considered an asset.
  • Three years' experience in supervisory and managing in a unionized and interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Experience developing and delivering education and training sessions.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with multi-sectoral partnerships and developing excellent working relationships with a broad range of individuals and organizations.
Education and Certification
  • BSW, BSc.PN, BN, OT, RPN, RN, or related health/human services degree required.
  • Eligibility for registration in area of professional practice required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Mental Health Crisis Response System in the Winnipeg Health Region/Shared Health.
  • Advanced expertise in Crisis Intervention, Suicide Intervention, and mental health assessment processes specific crisis response services.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Evidence-Based Practice, including current knowledge of best practices in the area of mental health crisis response systems and service provision.
  • Clinical knowledge and experience in the area of Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders and the related implications for clinical practice with clients with this diagnosis.
