About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Homelife Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production and other reports, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise workers and projects, recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the required quality standards, including setting up machines and equipment, estimating costs and materials, and reading blueprints and drawings.
  • Resource Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Communication: Lead and instruct individuals, including bricklayers, cement finishers, tilesetters, painters and decorators, floor covering installers, plasterers, drywall installers and finishers, fence erectors, trades helpers, and labourers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Environment: 35 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
