Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Site Supervisor to oversee our construction projects at Homelife Construction Ltd. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Work Environment

The position is based in a construction setting, where you will be responsible for supervising various tasks and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress.
  • Supervise workers and manage project activities effectively.
  • Coordinate and schedule daily operations to meet project timelines.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new workers, along with managing staffing needs.
  • Set up machinery and equipment for construction tasks.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Interpret blueprints and drawings to guide construction activities.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for ongoing projects.
  • Lead and instruct team members to ensure quality work.
Supervision Responsibilities

You will oversee a team consisting of:

  • Bricklayers
  • Cement finishers
  • Tilesetters
  • Painters and decorators
  • Floor covering installers
  • Plasterers
  • Drywall installers and finishers
  • Fence erectors
  • Trades helpers
  • Labourers
