Job Summary

This is a full-time position that involves working with a diverse group of residents, many of whom require assistance with daily living activities. As a Home Care Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and hygiene assistance to residents
  • Assisting with meal preparation and serving
  • Supporting residents with mobility and transfer needs
  • Engaging residents in activities and social events
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector Check and CPR certification
