About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Sea Logistics team as a Customer Care Specialist. This is a key role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to build and maintain long-term partnerships with our internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive advice and consultancy to customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain clear, open communication channels with customers to understand their business needs and goals.
  • Promote proactive and consistent engagement with the Operational Care Centre (OCC) to ensure seamless operations execution.
  • Ensure the quality of information transition to the OCC meets the high standards expected by our customers.
  • Design customer experiences that are tailored to their business and day-to-day realities.
  • Understand and consistently offer best solutions for standard shipping requirements, adapting quickly to changes that may arise.
  • Facilitate customers' ability to obtain quotes for various business modes that best fit their shipments.
  • Document communication rules of engagement that prioritize customer needs and expectations.
  • Facilitate solutions with internal and external counterparts, following up consistently and documenting issues to create a 360-degree view of the customer.
  • Provide timely and relevant information to customers to mitigate their risk and adjust planning, budgets, etc.
  • Guide customers through Kuehne+Nagel's online tools to support their goals, including efficiency, planning, and visibility.
  • Document, investigate, and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all GXP training is completed and Pharmaceutical shipments are handled in accordance with GXP requirements and compliance.
  • Understand and adhere to Kuehne+Nagel's QSHE processes and requirements as stipulated in SOP/WI.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Sea Logistics Imports and Freight Forwarding.
  • Bilingual in French and English is a must.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel).
  • Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), CIFFA I + II certificates is considered an asset.
