Content Claims Specialist

Job Summary
Crawford & Company is seeking a highly skilled Content Claims Specialist to join our team in Mississauga, ON, Canada. As a Content Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in handling content claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct onsite visits to meet with adjusters and policyholders to conduct inventory and valuations of total loss contents.
- Ensure consistent and quality turnaround of all claims in accordance with company productivity and performance standards.
- Work with support teams to organize and direct resources required for completing inventory and LKQ valuation of total loss contents.
- Adhere to company commitment to timely and informative updates on content claims process to adjusters and policyholders.
- Complete and submit detailed work logs daily for all claim tasks completed.
- Maintain claim-related notes in the company's platform, exclaim, related to various tasks involved in handling claims.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion and pricing of all outstanding items, adhering to Like, Kind, and Quality (LKQ) standards.
- Consistently promote Crawford & Company's brand, image, and reputation in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements:
- Secondary School diploma.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Some prior background or experience in the Property claims industry would be considered an asset.
- Ability to provide an adequate workspace, free of noise.
- Employee must provide their own high-speed internet service.
- Company equipment, including laptop, will be provided.
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required, with business-related expenses covered by Crawford & Company.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and new technology.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
