About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our Food and Beverage team at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. As a Steward, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently provide exceptional service to our guests and colleagues
  • Follow all stewarding policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Ensure all equipment and utensils are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards
  • Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen and dining areas
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Supply equipment and utensils to kitchen and dining areas as needed
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies, including proper handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning supplies
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision
Working Environment

As a Steward at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you will be working in a fast-paced, upscale environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and loud environment. You must be willing to get your hands dirty and work in a team-oriented environment.
