Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Southern Health-Santé Sud. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing payroll procedures, scheduling staff, and ensuring the accuracy of employee benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll documents and process payments with accuracy and efficiency;
  • Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime;
  • Maintain accurate employee files, benefits, and personnel records;
  • Perform administrative tasks related to benefit programs and payroll deductions;
Requirements
  • Grade XII education with aptitude in English and Mathematics;
  • Experience in payroll procedures and benefit administration;
  • Knowledge of Employment Standards and payroll deduction regulations preferred;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and use of computer-based scheduling and payroll systems;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment;
  • Capable of performing detail-oriented tasks with high accuracy;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines;
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in scheduling and staffing;
  • Knowledge of collective agreements and application;
  • Proficiency of both official languages (English and French) essential for target and designated bilingual positions;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job;
  • Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality;
  • Good work and attendance record;
