Job Title: Training Specialist, Learning

Gerrie Electric, a leading electrical distributor, is seeking a skilled Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional training experiences to our employees, driving business success, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with directors, branch managers, and executive teams to identify training needs and priorities.
  • Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and online courses to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
  • Manage and maintain a training library, ensuring all staff have access to relevant materials and resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices to inform training content and delivery.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, contributing to the development of new training materials and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in an HR training-related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with adult learners, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories, learning designs, and delivery methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
