We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer of Qikiqtaaluk Corporation. This role requires a multi-tasker who can prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and edit a variety of documents, including confidential correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Review and distribute priority correspondence, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service.
- Support the CFO in time management, scheduling calendars, and preparing agendas for meetings.
- Research and prepare briefings, correspondence, and reports for various audiences.
- Complete projects and special assignments by establishing clear objectives and deadlines.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business administration or a related field.
- 5 years' experience supporting a senior executive, preferably in a finance-related role.
- Strong administrative skills, including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
- Excellent communication, oral, and written skills.
- Motivated and proactive, with a strong ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of Nunavut and Northern Canada is an asset.
