Municipal Enforcement Officer Position

About the Role:
The City of Iqaluit seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Municipal Enforcement Officer to join their team. Under the direction of the Chief Municipal Enforcement Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing municipal bylaws and regulations. This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of $65,900.13 per annum. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a settlement allowance of $20,907.43 per annum. The working environment is unionized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce municipal bylaws and regulations.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure compliance with municipal bylaws.
- Investigate complaints and take enforcement action as necessary.
- Provide education and awareness to the public on municipal bylaws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
