About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team at A & K Group of Renovation & Painting Ltd.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with excellent leadership and organizational skills. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and meeting budget requirements.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities to ensure smooth project execution
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet project deadlines
  • Select trade subcontractors based on their expertise and experience
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed
  • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
  • Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Plan and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Develop and implement quality control programs
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform decision-making
  • Prepare reports to stakeholders and senior management

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:



  • This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential
  • You will need to combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
  • Overtime may be required to meet project demands

Own Tools/Equipment:



  • Steel-toed safety boots are a must-have for this role

  • Judgement and sound decision-making skills are essential
  • A high level of organization and accountability is required

Experience:



  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field is preferred

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year (dependent on experience)
