Job Summary:- The ideal candidate will have experience in providing nursing services to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
- They will be responsible for administering medications, conducting specimen collection, and monitoring vital signs.
- We require the successful candidate to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records.
About the Role:
- This role is suited for an individual with excellent oral and written communication skills, who can work effectively as part of a team and provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care.
- A valid CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate are required.
- The selected candidate must also have the ability to clean and sterilize operating rooms and instruments, monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy, and provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
- Educational Background: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Certifications: Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work, Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
