Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

At Insight Recruitment Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality operations team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive quality oversight related to documentation, SOPs, manufacturing operations, product complaints, deviations, change controls, and analytical investigations to ensure compliance with legislation and Health Canada standards.
  • Collaborate with site operations to resolve investigations and deviations, as well as manufacturing optimization.
  • Review and approve validation protocols and reports, stability, documentation, specifications, certificates of analysis, and manufacturing batch records.
  • Liaise with operations and regulatory affairs, manufacturers, suppliers, and customers to obtain necessary information/documentation required for product qualification, review, and release.
  • Maintain an in-house training program for staff.
  • Conduct internal audits and host regulatory inspections.
  • Execute and enforce quality agreements with suppliers and contract organizations.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Health Canada Security Clearance Required.
  • 7+ years of quality assurance experience in a relevant industry, such as cannabis, pharma, and/or food.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
