Job Description

Job Summary:

The Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance strategies to ensure the highest level of quality in our products and services. This role will also oversee the development and implementation of compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Strategies: Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure the highest level of quality in our products and services.
  • Oversee Compliance Programs: Oversee the development and implementation of compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Quality Assurance Teams: Manage quality assurance teams to ensure that quality standards are met and exceeded.
  • Track and Analyze Performance Metrics: Track and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Develop and Implement Process Improvements: Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality standards are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and Maintain Quality Documentation: Develop and maintain quality documentation to ensure that quality standards are met and exceeded.
  • Identify and Implement Quality Training Needs: Identify and implement quality training needs to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 15+ Years of Quality Assurance Experience: 15+ years of quality assurance experience in the apparel manufacturing industry.
  • Post-Secondary Degree: Post-secondary degree in fashion, pattern making, or textile technology.
  • Quality Assurance Experience in Textile Industry: Quality assurance experience in the textile industry is a must.
  • Technical Outerwear Knowledge: Technical outerwear knowledge and hands-on production experience are required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to build relationships across the business.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem identification and creative problem-solving/resolution skills are required.
  • Decision Making and Leadership Skills: Decision making, ability to work independently and within a team, and strong ability to lead a team are required.
