Our Horizontal Infrastructure Business Unit has a strong reputation for delivering outstanding quality and meeting client needs. Our team of planners, engineers, and contract administrators work together to deliver infrastructure solutions that meet our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design integrated municipal roadway, provincial highway, transit facilities, and active transportation facilities projects for clients in the province and for other major municipalities in the province.
  • Assist in the preparation of designs, design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications, and cost estimates for municipal road and highway engineering work.
  • Prepare correspondence, engineering reports, proposals, expressions of interest, specifications, and meeting minutes.
  • Liaise with clients and sub-consultants.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring for junior staff.
  • Ensure corporate policies are followed and documented.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the transportation design engineering field, preferably with local experience in the consulting industry.
  • P.Eng. designation or ability to register.
  • Knowledge of applicable design standards.
  • Outstanding communication, documentation, and proposal writing skills.
  • Past experience in contract administration is an asset.
