Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Payments Canada. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the planning, development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud infrastructure design and operations
  • Develop and implement cloud technology standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud infrastructure initiatives
  • Design and implement automation scripts to reduce manual repetitive tasks
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Participate in on-call support and provide technical expertise as needed

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure services, software development, or related field
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure design and operations, automation scripts, and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of software version control, automated deployment, orchestration, and CI/CD principles
  • Experience working with configuration management tools and enterprise networking concepts
