About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team at Harman Elite Construction Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record Management: You will be responsible for recording and preparing minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences. This includes scheduling appointments, answering telephone calls, and relaying messages.
  • Data Compilation: You will compile data, statistics, and other information to assist with project management.
  • Inventory Management: You will be responsible for ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Project Coordination: You will assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs as required.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Newcomer Support: You will assist newcomers and refugees with their immediate settlement needs, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Youth Support: You will provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Indigenous Support: You will participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Visible Minority Support: You will provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Construction industry.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week.
