About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Provider to join our team at Southbridge Owen Sound. As a Personal Care Provider, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving Meals and Feeding Patients: Prepare and serve meal trays to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Maintaining Patient Rooms: Make beds, clean, and maintain the overall cleanliness of patient rooms.
  • Personal Care and Grooming: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Transportation and Mobility: Safely transport residents in wheelchairs or stretchers, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Specimen Collection: Collect specimens as required, following established protocols and procedures.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Administer first aid in emergency situations, providing immediate care and support to residents.

Experience and Education
  • Education: Completion of a relevant education program, such as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, with a focus on personal care and support.
