About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Provider to join our team at Southbridge Owen Sound. As a Personal Care Provider, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Service: Serve meal trays and feed patients as needed.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain patients' rooms, including making beds and keeping the area clean and tidy.
  • Transportation: Transport residents in wheelchair or stretcher as required.
  • Specimen Collection: Collect specimens from residents as needed.
  • First Aid: Administer first aid in emergency situations.

  • Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent care and service to our residents.
  • Dependability: Be reliable and dependable in your work, ensuring that residents receive consistent and high-quality care.

Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a relevant education program (e.g. Personal Support Worker, Nursing Assistant).
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Hours of Work: 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
