Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Organize and direct nursing and personal care staff to ensure efficient delivery of care.
- Assist in the management of staff, including training and professional development.
- Collaborate with the Director of Care to address concerns and improve care practices.
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registration/eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
