Role Overview

The Client Experience and Advisory Services Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring members and clients have a positive experience with Desjardins. This includes providing exceptional support, addressing needs, and promoting the organization's cooperative values.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support members and clients by educating them on existing applications and technological tools to facilitate transactions and operations.
  2. Contribute to business development and maintain business relationships through service delivery and activities.
  3. Assist members and clients who have encountered fraud or irregularities, and ensure they are referred to the appropriate partners.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest standards, products, and services in the field.
  5. Uphold compliance, security, and risk management standards.

Requirements
  • High school diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of all counter and convenience products and services
  • Knowledge of all Desjardins products and services aimed at caisse members and those offered by business centres, components, distribution networks/channels, and competitors
  • Knowledge of integrating data into systems
  • Knowledge of security measures, legal framework, and internal controls
  • Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives
  • Knowledge of operating procedures related to convenience products and services and automated and assisted transactions
  • Knowledge of service standards
  • Action-oriented, communicates effectively, customer-focused, difference-aware, nimble learner, situational adaptable, and tech-savvy
