We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Lead to join our team at Green Indian Cuisine Pizza and Sweets Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team in preparing and serving high-quality meals.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a senior chef or equivalent role. You will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • To determine the size of food portions and costs effectively.
  • To plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
  • To prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
  • To ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
  • To maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • To supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, with further education in culinary arts or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This role requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to lift and move heavy objects is essential.
  • Good eyesight and hearing are also required.

  • A strong work ethic and commitment to quality are also required.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and provide excellent customer service is essential.
